The emotional center of everything here. My father worked at IBM, starting in the mail room, and IBM's Quarter Century Club had long awarded a Rolex for twenty-five years of service. By the time he reached his twenty-five years, the award had become a Tudor. He received this Prince Date instead of the Rolex he had dreamed of. I own that exact watch now. It is not a showpiece; it is the reason for the search.
Nothing here is listed for sale. If a piece speaks to you, it is a conversation.
How it found me
This is the award watch my father received for 25 years of service at IBM. He worked for a Rolex but got a Tudor due to budget cuts, an important lesson for me about the importance of incentives and honoring commitments. When he passed, my mother gave it to me. I can remember him wearing it like a gold medal, and to honor him I have never resized it. On days when I'm doing big deals, I wear it to show him how far I've come.
