The story

How it found me

I set up an AI watch buyer that hunts for value on vintage Rolexes while meticulously reviewing the photos for authentic components. When it finds a match, I reach out to the seller directly. That is how I met Laurent at Laurent Fine Watches and acquired this rare reference, after being intrigued by how, when gold prices ran high, Rolex made these gold-capped watches by mechanically bonding twenty times the gold of traditional plating.
