A 1991 Datejust 36 in stainless on the jubilee, white dial with white gold Roman numerals and the black minute track ringing the outer edge. Understated, correctly sized, the kind of piece that disappears under a cuff and never asks for attention.
Nothing here is listed for sale. If a piece speaks to you, it is a conversation.
How it found me
My first Rolex. I had just finished a thirteen-month sprint of working while completing an MBA at night. My brother had a line on some Rolexes up in Minnesota, and I wanted to reward myself and have something nice to wear in my upcoming wedding. I've worn this Rolex on several bands and had the original jubilee bracelet polished by Rolex when it was serviced. It's my favorite vacation watch: not valuable enough to worry about, but with enough allure to make you wonder what I have at home.
