A 2022 Santos in the large size, full set, with the graduated blue dial. Cartier's original pilot's watch, still carrying its exposed screws and squared case a century on. I wear it on the blue leather deployant; the bracelet lives in the safe.

How it found me
The most generous gift I've ever been given. My business partner, friend, and the person I do life with gave me this for my 40th birthday. I was shocked and blown away by the generosity and the gesture. He knows I'm a watch nerd and felt this watch was me; he was right. I love the blue and black face, and I started wearing it more when I put the stainless bracelet in the safe and put on the blue leather deployant it came with. This watch reminds me that true friendship and love transcend time.
